Economic Warning Day Munich: Wake-up call for politicians
Crisis communication for the German economy: Against the dramatic backdrop of the longest recession since the Federal Republic was founded, numerous associations such as Der Mittelstand.BVMW, the family businesses and the catering association DEHOGA, together with many other actors, actively supported the nationwide economic warning day.
Parallel to the central rally at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, the organizers also campaigned in Munich together with over 100 participants for the central demands of the Economic Warning Day on politicians. They were loudly expressed on the Esperanto Square on Theresienwiese: more competitiveness through fewer taxes, lower energy costs and relaxed labor laws.
In his role as press spokesman for BVMW Bayern, Achim von Michel had the opportunity to explain the central demands of medium-sized businesses to the numerous TV reporters present. In interviews with Bayerischer Rundfunk, Sat.1 and München TV, he emphasized the enormous urgency of an immediate economic turnaround in Germany. He was supported by social media experts at WORDUP PR, who at least had to give up film reporting via drone and camera due to the strong wind. At least some nice photos were taken on site, and we will of course archive the TV reports.
