Event and PR support for the United Nations

Around 15,000 participants are expected at the 25th international AIDS conference (AIDS 2024) at the Munich exhibition center from July 22nd. AIDS 2024 will bring together thousands of people living with, affected by and working with HIV to share knowledge, best practices and lessons learned from the HIV response over the past 40 years and from health threats such as COVID-19 and MPOX.

On July 22, UNAIDS, the joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, will present its annual Global Report to international press representatives. WORDUP PR was commissioned by the Geneva organization to prepare and organize the hybrid press conference in Munich. In addition, the WORDUP PR team will also actively support the UNAIDS communications experts with press relations before, during and after the press conference.

“After previous, successfully implemented projects for the German Federal Government and the European Patent Office, the United Nations / WHO is now the third major government or supranational client to be significantly supported by WORDUP PR. We are proud of this commission and are pleased to be able to actively contribute to successful communication on a topic as central to the world as AIDS,” emphasizes WORDUP managing director Achim von Michel. “When planning and implementing this flagship event, we particularly benefit from our many years of experience with technically demanding and high-quality hybrid formats.”
