Lehel Invest Bayern (LIB) was founded in 2013 with the aim of promoting foreign investment by medium-sized companies. A special focus is on companies in the Bavarian and Southern German region who want to gain a foothold in the fast-growing foreign markets in the new consumer markets or who are dependent on a presence at the customer site as a supplier.

Through the use of the equity of institutional and private investors as well as the company’s own resources, LIB acquires active participations in domestic companies and contributes to the management of foreign commitments. In contrast to traditional investment approaches, the LIB model allows a long-term investment as the fund has a total maturity of 12 years.

The founding team of LIB – Dr. Thomas Kuhmann, Vesa Jormakka, Dirk von Pechmann and Ferhat Datli – has more than 80 years of experience in investment management and active management of companies in Europe, Asia, South America and the USA. LIB is embedded in the corporate groups Lehel Partners GmbH and Lehel Industrie GmbH, which have been successfully providing financing advice and participation in SMEs for over 10 years.
