We mourn Mario Ohoven
The sad and painful news of the unexpected death of BVMW President Mario Ohoven touches our hearts. Mario Ohoven was suddenly torn from his life in a traffic accident on October 31st. Presidium, board of directors, management and members are united in deep mourning for the president of the middle class. We bow in respectful gratitude to his incomparable life’s work. In two decades, Mario Ohoven has shaped the BVMW into the leading association of medium-sized companies in Germany with 340 branches and 60 of its own foreign offices. He was the face and the voice of our association, his word had great weight in politics, business and society. He worked tirelessly for our members at the top of German and European medium-sized businesses. In recognition of his successful work, Mario Ohoven has received numerous prestigious awards at home and abroad. With his charismatic personality, he got people excited about entrepreneurship far beyond the BVMW. We will continue to advance his goals and ideas for medium-sized businesses. We count on your support. As a middle-class family, we remember an extraordinary person and role model, a visionary entrepreneur and pioneer, a loving husband, father and grandfather with deeply felt compassion. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
